Air Conditioning Services
United provides complete and thorough cleaning, sanitizing and decontaminating services for all types of air handling systems, ductwork, and related equipment.

The Problems
Air handling systems that are laden with dirt, grease, or other contaminants are serious health and fire hazards, rob you of expensive energy dollars, and don't do the job they were intended to do.

The Conditions
Dirt inside air duct passages, on heat exchangers and coils and deflection vanes, restricts air movement and prevents the system from delivering or removing air properly. Worse yet, the dirt particles are ingested into the air stream and emitted into the rooms and other areas serviced the system. This means that housekeeping expenses increase, the health hazard of dirty air exists, and the system uses more energy to attempt to maintain the demands of the HVAC temperature and humidity controls.

Additionally, dirt and other contaminants found in air ducts can be serious fire hazards when conditions of combustion occur. When this happens, the fire can travel through the ductwork to do serious and extensive damage.

Further, it is established that dirty air systems may be a breeding ground for germs, viruses, and bacteria. Since temperature and humidity conditions in dirty, restricted systems can be ideal for breeding, this condition has received much attention from medical and health interests.

The Service
United provides complete and thorough cleaning for interiors of any kind of air handling system; and cleaning methods are designed to handle your particular problem and contaminant material. All accessible points of the system are included and we guarantee to remove 97% of contaminants from system interiors. Cleanout openings into ductwork are provided, and are repaired and sealed after service is completed, thereby facilitating our "direct contact" method of cleaning.

The Scope
The air handling unit with fans and housings, plenums, coils and heat exchanger are pressure detergent washed. Fresh air intake ducts, return air ducts, and all supply air ducts are cleaned by vacuum or other process required to remove contaminants. All grills, diffusers, and registers are removed, marked to maintain air balance, washed, and reinstalled.

If the system is suspected of containing disease-causing organisms the entire system can be treated with approved sanitizer.

The Methods
We perform our service at a time of day or night that causes least disruption to your normal operations - at no change in service price. We protect the work areas with suitable drop cloth materials and clean up when we are through. If the service requires more than one work shift to complete our cleaning procedures, the system is left fully operational for normal usage between work shifts. We supply all labor, equipment, materials, and require only the usage of your water and electricity to perform our service.

The Results
Upon completion of our service your system is clean, unrestricted, and operating efficiently. The health and fire hazards are greatly reduced and your energy savings will offset the cost of service. A service report is supplied to you, if desired, upon completion of work.
